KNIVES in a flat-screen television, walls and microwave was what greeted a Wardle Street resident on Sunday afternoon.
Police reported a home was broken into sometime between 2.30pm on Saturday and 1.15pm on Sunday with an unknown person/s entering the home by a rear window.
Wagga Local Area Command (LAC) crime manager Detective Inspector Rod Smith said the persons ransacked the home using knives to destroy a number of valuable items.
Knives were stabbed into a television, photographs and documentation and into walls.
A microwave was also found with a knife through it.
A glass table, vase and iPod wewre also damaged.

The incident was the only one reported for Junee across the Anzac long weekend with no drivers caught drink-driving or speeding.
