Imagine your world on Paper

BUDDING cartoonists in Junee had help from one of the masters of the craft with Andrew Hore coming to town to share his skills.

Just under 20 school children were on hand at Junee library and, armed with pencil and paper, learnt how to put their imaginiation to paper using basic shapes.

Mr Hore, a self-taught cartoonist who worked in newspapers, MAD Magazine and on many books, helped children add a little personality to their drawings.

“They’re all aspiring cartoonists ... they have no fear and can let their imagination run wild,” he said.

The light-hearted nature of creating cartoon characters

meant both the students and teacher had a lot of fun with the workshop.

“This is my first time in Junee, I’d love to come back,” Mr Hore said.
