Grants on offer for child services

PRE-SCHOOLS, childcare providers and childhood intervention projects in Junee can now apply for two new grant programs.

The Intervention Support Program is open to all childcare providers for children with disabilities and the REACH – Rural Early Childhood program 2010 grants are for communities with populations of less than 10,000.

Funded by the NSW Department of Education and Training, the program provides education opportunities, learning outcomes and personal development for children with disabilities.

The REACH program, funded by the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal and the Vincent Fairfax Family Foundation, can provide grants of between $1000 to $20,000.
