Combined carols proves a success

08 Dec, 2011 08:50 AM
JUNEE’S community Christmas carols have been labelled a rousing success after attracting hundreds of people to

Memorial Park on Sunday evening.

Usually two carol events are held, one for the community and one for the schools, but Baptist minister,

Dale Skewes said as an experiment both were combined on Sunday.

Mr Skewes said the feedback from the night was overwhelmingly positive.

The junior concert band made their debut on the night and for their first performance impressed the crowd.

Mr Skewes said the new format of one community carols night was likely to return next year.
