COMMUNITY groups are already lining up to use the Athenium Theatre.
However, they will have to wait a little longer to get inside the new-look facility.
Everything is on time for a mid-to-late September opening, according to Junee Shire Council manager for development and planning Anthony Newland.
“I think it’s on time.”
“They have the archways to paint and the historical screens. Around 80 per cent of the scaffolding is gone.”
The bottom walls are awaiting final paint coats, the foyer carpet has been ordered and the bathrooms are almost complete.
